The Transformational Practice Community – FAQ , Themes and Videos

Hello! This is where you can get all your questions answered about the community.

Let’s start with a video I made with a long-time participant with Tribe in Transition, Sundy Gilchrist. Our conversation introduces the Tribe in Transition Transformational Practice Community and how we can support you to embody inner wholeness even within our chaotic and fragmenting world.

We explored what the transition to our next stage of consciousness involves and how we can choose to hold the tragedies unfolding across the planet within a transformational framework recognising that we each have a part to play in the transformation.

The Community offers safe spaces within a purpose-built online home, where you can join like-hearted others to explore your experiences of living through these tumultuous times, discover your authentic truth and our shared humanity and create a new paradigm culture from the inner knowing of interconnectedness.

When there is a commitment to listen deeply to self and to others we can build a safe, expansive container of unconditional love and acceptance within which we can all learn to thrive.

Our Themes

Each month we will explore a new theme as part of a bigger unfolding of the transformational spiral. The exploration will include a guidebook or other stimulus resources which you can use to support your own individual inquiry and practice. Then we meet for a 90 – minute group session for connection and discovery.

Introduction: Empowering Your Process of Transformation

Monthly themes:

 1.  Awakening to Authenticity – Being Whole in a Fragmenting World

 2.  Connecting and Creating – How Being Creative is Our Best Medicine

3.  Healing and Harvesting – Sanctuary, Your Quest for Inner Peace and Belonging

4.  Sitting with Death and Choosing Life – Stillness and Surrender

Then, in 2026 we will deepen into these themes, taking three months to explore each one more fully.

Our Community Building Sessions

Each month you will also have the opportunity to join a second group meeting to explore and co-create the community we long for.

We will focus on co-creating a strong yet flexible container to hold our group transformation and practice simple, vitally important skills such as  deep listening and beginners mind.

All the skills are transferable, so if you are building community elsewhere these practices will help you there too.

Frequently Asked Questions

What can I expect to learn by joining the community?

Your learning will depend on your participation – the more fully you show up, the more you will learn. Showing up consistently and participating fully and authentically is a learning curve for most of us. And that’s why community membership  offering the opportunity to participate regularly, over time, is such a gift.

Even though we’ll all be on the same journey, exploring the same themes and curriculum, what you learn will be very individual – it will be what you need and are ready to learn now.

Being part of this community offers the  opportunity to deepen your inner healing journey, to grow in confidence and authentic self expression, to exercise leadership and courage, to become more skilled in relationships, to develop your creative skills, to grow in wisdom and compassion, and more…

You will grow your awareness of how you limit and judge yourself – and experiment with making different choices. You’ll become more aware how you get triggered by others, where you need to hold clearer boundaries and where you need to be more open and flexible. You’ll notice when you want to give up and how you can use the support of the group. And more…

The work of the community will help you to get clear what skills and attitudes you need to develop and how you can do that.

What if it’s not a good fit for me – can I leave?

Yes, you can cancel your membership at any time you choose. Membership is paid monthly and when you cancel your next payment, and all future payments, will be stopped.

When you leave it would be helpful for everyone if you say goodbye and tell us  how the community could have suited you better. It’s not always easy to do that, I know, but it helps everyone when there’s closure and makes us aware how we can. improve the community.

What is the time commitment?

Again, it’s up to you how much time you give to your growth within this community. The minimum is the 90 minute group discovery session exploring the month’s theme. Then there’s the stimulus resources – and here, we’re all very different –  some of us enjoy reading, others prefer to watch videos. Some like to spend time every day doing inner work. Others practice as part of everyday life. I recommend you at least read through the resources before the group conversations. To get to know people better and to be visible you will want to post in the community forum too. And then there’s the 90 minute community building session each month. It’s your choice how much or how little time you invest. Taking everything into account I would say a couple of hours a week would give you a good return on your time and energy.

What if I want to go even deeper?

We will be taking the themes deeper in 2026 and there will also be an opportunity to join a smaller group at a different level of membership, giving you the opportunity to have closer connection and more space to explore.

You will also have the opportunity to join other courses in addition to the monthly membership. I’ll be adding these over the year and they’ll include: Build Your Soul SanctuaryA Transformational Practice for Nurturing Your Soul; 22 Days of Transformation –Transform Your Self, Your Community and Your World with the Power of the Imagination; Women Create! A One Year Transformative Adventure for Women Ready to Blossom; Sitting with Death and Choosing Life- Grieving as a Gateway to Transpersonal Healing; Deep Discovery Conversations – Awakening Community Wisdom for a New Era, and more.  Each will have an additional fee which will include your community membership.

Who is This For Really?

I have always worked with been conscious healing practitioners, change agents, community leaders and creatives – these are the people I feel best equipped to serve. Over the lifetime of Tribe in Transition I’ve connected and worked with people from 20 – 90, women and men, of different nationalities and ethnicities. Most frequently it’s women between the ages of mid 40’s and ’70’s.  You must be fluent in english and feel comfortable participating in personal development groups – or be willing to extend your skills so you can feel more comfortable.

What is the difference between taking part in a course and being part of this community?

A course has a fixed beginning and end, whereas in the community you can choose how long you want to stay. The introductory period is over 5 months and then another year is planned at this level of membership. In the community you not only have access to my experience and wisdom you also have all the resources of the community and the chance to make friends and c0-workers.
